1. Packaging

1.1. Packaging materials, commercial packaging and transportation of dairy products must be in accordance with applicable regulations

a, Commercial packaging

Commercial packaging is very important, which is in direct contact with the product. Therefore, product selection materials must be extremely strict and carefully considered. Both ensure Vietnamese standards and save the most costs for manufacturers. Here are some standard Vietnamese packaging materials for dairy products:

• Cardboard and plastic boxes: special-purpose cartons and ordinary cartons, plastic boxes
• Aluminum tube

b, Shipping packaging and group packaging

Transport and group packaging materials also have the same quality regulations as those of commercial packaging. But due to the specific characteristics of transport packaging and group packaging, there are still other materials and production designs according to Vietnamese standards:

• Carton box: of ordinary or waterproof carton and of corrugated (corrugated) carton
• Case made of polymer material
• Wooden box

1.2. Requirements for packaging and packaging materials

Packaging and packaging materials should be clean, undamaged and free of foreign odors and should keep the product free from contamination, loss of odor and taste.

Packages and packaging materials must be stored in a condition that will preserve the quality of the packaging and its materials. Before use, they must be checked for cleanliness, no defects and no foreign odors

1.3. Methods of packaging dairy products

Transport packaging used for direct packaging of dairy products must be covered with a packaging material suitable for each type of product.

For example, to wrap unwrapped butter, use greaseproof paper or aluminum foil for lining.

Transport packaging is prepared in accordance with 1.3.1. must be filled with product to the rated (specified) capacity. Then close it by a method appropriate to the texture of the package.

Dairy products must be packed into bags, corresponding to the rated capacity. Bags made of polymers or coated with sieves must be sealed or sealed. Paper or cloth bags must be sewn or tied so that the product does not leak.

Packaging methods for commercial and shipping packaging:

•  Place the trade item packaging in the shipping packaging so that the space within the package is sealed so that it does not move during transport.
• It is necessary to close the package by a method suitable to the structure of the package

The marking of trade item packages, group packages and shipping packages must comply with current regulations.

1.4. Forming shipping packages

Forming shipping packages need to ensure all safety factors, ensure the products inside, ensure the size, ... but save costs. This is exactly what manufacturers care about and research and consider. By Vietnam standard regulations for dairy products when forming transport packages are:

Equipment:

• When forming shipping bags, use 800 x 1200 mm . flat slabs
• When forming shipping bags, use flat floor slabs with columns 800 x 1200 mm
• When forming shipping bags, use 800 x 1200 mm . box floor slabs
• When forming shipping packages, use universal containers

Form shipping bags using flat slabs:

• Boxes, crates or bags of dairy products are stacked on top of the floor slabs to form a solid rectangular shipping bag.
• Transport packages must be protected from deformation during storage and transportation

Formation of shipping bags when using box and container floor slabs:

• Special shaped products and commercial packaging do not require group packaging as well as dairy product shipping packaging to be stacked to full capacity of box or container floor slabs.
• Product and packaging must be protected from deformation and movement

2. Preservation

2.1. General Terms

Put dairy products for preservation in the shipping packaging according to Article 1.3., in case of floor slabs or containers, form a shipping bag according to Article 1.4.

2.2. Warehouse and storage conditions

Dairy products must be stored in a ventilated, clean, cool warehouse free of mold and strange odors so as not to lose quality and not be toxic.

Storage conditions should correspond to the following parameters:

• The relative humidity of the air in the warehouse is not more than 85%.
• The relative humidity of the air when storing infant formula products should not be more than 75%.

2.3. Sorting method

Shipping packages or shipping packages are stacked on floor slabs. Individual packages must be placed on wooden shelves. Packages should be arranged in such a way that the symbols are legible.

3.1. Transportation

• The means of transport used to transport dairy products must be clean, free from foreign odors, must keep the product free from contamination, moisture, contamination and damage, and be resistant to the harmful effects of air conditioning. Atmospheric conditions: hot, cold, rainy, snowy, etc.
